The original Hamilton Ventura , launched in 1957, was a truly innovative timepiece, featuring an electric circuit - making it the very first electric watch - and a bold, distinctive case shape inspired by pioneering designer Richard Arbib. To perpetuate its futuristic heritage, we've introduced an eye-catching new aesthetic that now reveals an oversized version and a dial that lights up in red.

Half a century ago, the Ventura stunned theWATCHMAKING and design world with its electric movement and elaborate geometric shape, which still push the boundaries ofWATCHMAKING and design today. Worn by the king of rock'n'roll Elvis Presley himself in the 1961 film "Blue Hawaii", it also became an iconic piece of Hollywood history, which only contributed to its unwavering success.

To pay tribute to this watchmaking icon, we welcome a striking new iteration, the Ventura XXL Bright. The new model, with a 47.6 mm black PVD-coated stainless steel case, features a remarkable quartz movement that illuminates the dial in red at the touch of a button at 9 o'clock.

Black Super-LumiNova®-coated hour and minute hands combine with an electric pulse pattern and matching hour markers to make this exceptional extension a fearless version of the 1950s original.
