World-renowned industrial designer Tej Chauhan boldly revisits the symbol of Swiss avant-garde know-how and innovation: the Diastar Original. The 38 mm case, topped by a Ceramos™ bezel with polished yellow-gold-colored PVD coating, blends naturally into a stainless steel caseband also coated with polished yellow-gold-colored PVD, offering water resistance to 10 bar (100 meters). The concave matte black dial perfectly illustrates Rado's mastery of technical details, with the minute scale printed in silver and blue, dotted with applied raised hour markers every five minutes. At 12 and 6 o'clock, the iconic mobile anchor and Rado logo, both sandblasted in black, are complemented by a day/date window at 3 o'clock, which displays Tej Chauhan's font in a vibrant, colorful palette, including fluorescent paint. The black and gold hour and minute hands, polished and coated with white Super-LumiNova®, as well as the neon yellow seconds hand, guarantee impeccable legibility in all light conditions. The ultra-sophisticated dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with radial facets and anti-reflective coating on the inside. This time machine is powered by the R764 automatic caliber. Meticulously adjusted in five positions and equipped with a Nivachron™ balance spring, this movement offers a high level of precision and an 80-hour power reserve. Finally, a cushion-shaped grey rubber bracelet fastens with an extendable stainless steel folding clasp with dark grey PVD coating, topped with a yellow gold clasp and pushers engraved with Rado x TC inscriptions.
