NEW, MODERNIZED DESIGN
For almost 2 years, we have been imagining and working on an evolution of the Superman model. Our aim was to bring technical improvements and modernized construction to this legendary model in our collection, while preserving its iconic design.

WATER-RESISTANT CROWN IN UNSCREWED POSITION
The architecture of the crown has been completely reworked. The length of the tube between the crown and the lever-block has been modified, giving it better notching and greater stability. When unscrewed for winding and time-setting, the crown gives a solid, high-quality feel.

In addition, our ambition was to bring a fundamental technical improvement to enable it to be adjusted even on the surface of the water before immersion. A new arrangement of the crown gaskets ensures greater rigidity when in use, but above all a water-resistance of 3 bars when the crown is unscrewed. It will now be possible to adjust the bezel and bezel lock on the surface of the water.

NEW BEZEL & BEZEL BLOCK ARCHITECTURE
The bezel block, the Superman's patented centerpiece, has been redesigned to ensure a better fit between the crown tube and the bezel block. The latter is therefore more stable.

To achieve this, we had to redesign all the bezel and crown components. Additional holes were drilled in the bezel to optimize the movement of the pawl spring and ensure more precise alignment of the bezel insert.

MORE RESISTANT DOUBLE-DOME SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL
The Superman 500 Destro features a high-quality double-dome sapphire crystal 2.60 mm thick, offering improved legibility, greater resistance and a resolutely vintage look.

The glass has been reduced in height by 0.3mm and enlarged in external diameter by 0.6mm, while retaining a thickness of 2.6mm. The result is a glass that is more resistant on the chased side, while retaining the DNA of its "Glace Box" shape.

CASE BACK 50 BAR - LIMITED EDITION 001/250
The main characteristic of a diver's watch, and in order to offer this new Superman with a water resistance of 50 bar (500m), the case back has been increased from 1.5mm to 2.2mm thick. YEMA historic coat-of-arms is stamped using a hydraulic press, and is now treated with a variety of bead-blasting processes for an enhanced, raised appearance.

Each watch is individually engraved with a unique number from 001 to 250 and the words LIMITED EDITION.

SUPER-LUMINOVA GRADE A
Upgrade from Super-LumiNova Grade Standard to Grade A for enhanced legibility. The luminescent marker on the graduated bezel and the arrow-shaped luminescent hand provide divers with a precise indication of dive time in poor visibility conditions at the deepest depths.

CALIBRE MAISON YEMA2000 "NO-DATE
Powered by optimized components, the YEMA2000 in-house caliber offers slightly better performance than competing calibers, with a daily drift of +/- 10 s/d and a 42-hour power reserve. This movement is without its date disk and its associated notch on the crown.

Evolution of the attachment system between the caliber and the case middle to ensure better support of the movement and increase resistance to shocks and vibrations.

UNIQUE 500 DESTRO DIAL
The Superman 500 Destro features a unique dial in shades of gray, reserved for this left-handed model. The elimination of the date complication has resulted in a clean, harmonious dial design with perfectly symmetrical elements, giving it a very sober finish while enhancing its legibility.
