The creation of Scatola del Tempo dates back to the late 1980s and is the result of serendipity, not a conscious diversification of an existing business, nor even a marketing decision. Scatola del Tempo was born of the desire and inventiveness of a watch collector, Sandro Colarieti, who needed watch boxes of the same quality as his watch collection . Unable to find such boxes on the market, he decided to make them himself, using local craftsmen and materials of the highest quality.

Initially, he made a small series of boxes, giving friends those he didn't need for himself. After a while, requests for similar watch boxes started coming in. This is how Scatola del Tempo was born, with its luxury products "Made in Italy", which today is known and appreciated on all five continents.
